In a heartwarming initiative, the Dr. Mostafa-Hajera Foundation distributed merit scholarships and winter clothes
(blankets) to the underprivileged across 10 unions, specifically in Deoti, Sonaimuri, Noakhali. The foundation's
two-day
effort aimed to bring warmth and educational support to those in need.
On January 13, 2024, the foundation hosted a scholarship distribution ceremony at the Birshrestha Shaheed Md. Ruhul
Amin
Auditorium of Sonaimuri Upazila. Over 100 students were awarded merit scholarships during the event.
The founders and chief advisors, AKM Golam Kibria and Zahirul Islam, and all members were present to acknowledge and
express their gratitude to the head teachers, teachers, students, and parents of Sonaimuri and Chatkhil upazilas for
their unwavering support.
The ceremony, marked by its beauty and organisation, highlighted the commitment of the Dr. Mostafa-Hajera Foundation
to
fostering education and providing opportunities to deserving students.
On January 14, the foundation continued its benevolent efforts by distributing winter clothes among 500 impoverished
individuals in Sonaimuri Upazila. In addition, appreciation gifts were presented to the freedom fighters of the 1971
War, recognising their invaluable contributions to the nation.
The goal of the foundation's many social initiatives is to improve the quality of life for the homeless, abandoned,
and
underprivileged. Respected imam-muazzins and economically disadvantaged students in boarding madrasas received
blankets
as part of their dedication to community welfare. The brave freedom fighters of Sonaimuri Upazila also received
blankets
from the foundation to help them through the cold winter.
The foundation's statement of joy reaffirmed their dedication to improving the lives of the less fortunate and emphasised their satisfaction at standing in solidarity with individuals impacted by the cold weather. In the future, the Dr. Mostafa-Hajera Foundation hopes to carry on its admirable work of helping those in need through education and humanitarian aid.
