An Emotional Support To The Flood Victim People

Dr. Mostafa Hazera Foundation, associated with AHZ, distributes food items to around five hundred flood-affected families in Sylhet as an emotional support to those people. On Sunday, July 4, at 10 a.m., the relief supplies were dispersed in Dirai Upazila and some remote areas in the Sunamgonj district. Six types of food items were given to each family. The volunteers of the Dr. Mostafa Hazera foundation and managers of the AHZ Sylhet branch were present there. According to the local administration’s Superintendent of Police, Mr. Yunus Khan, let us know the present situation in this area.

According to locals, this upazila is one of the most remote in Sunamganj. Low-income people have been ravaged by the floods. People are leading miserable lives with their families since there is water outside the house and their income is regularly cut off. The Dr. Mostafa Hazera Foundation chose to deliver meals, in this case, to restore optimism among the flood-affected people.

Speaking with the foundation’s members, it was discovered that they were picked up in a boat with an engine from Dhaka and transported to this isolated part of Sunamgonj. In Haor, volunteers used boats to transport meals from door to door.

Additional initiatives will be made in the future, according to the organizers, to perform more charitable activities. They are also engaged in various social welfare programs in the country. Dr. Mostafa-Hazera Foundation is a charitable and humanitarian organization and was formed in January 2020 as a part of this progression. The organization was then formally incorporated on February 28, 2022. The foundation has been working together with the family for many years on a variety of social projects, such as raising the standard of living for the hungry, neglected, and destitute.
